JOHNNY LEACH

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Drawing from his experience in the Pacific Northwest, Johnny’s menus highlight hyper-seasonal ingredients from local farms. He has previously worked at revered New York restaurants including Town, Del Posto, and Momofuku, and collected accolades and unforgettable experiences, including an appearance on David Chang’s Netflix original series “Ugly Delicious.”

HELEN JO LEACH

EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF

Helen Jo’s Midwestern-inspired approach to pasty incorporates native ingredients and experimentation with the restaurant’s centerpiece hearth, bringing her wealth of acumen, artistry, and excitement to The Town Company’s pastry program. Her prior experience includes esteemed spots like Eleven Madison Park, Del Posto, and Momofuko Milk Bar.

BRIAN SONNICH

SOUS CHEF

Brian took the Kansas City culinary community by storm after he moved from Topeka. A graduate at Johnson County Community College’s culinary arts program, he has held cooking positions in the area for more than eight years, and was most recently the sous chef at Columbus Park Ramen Shop.

While The Town Company’s wine list may be the shortest Kelsey has written in her career, she seized an opportunity to execute a dream lineup that had been envisioned for years. She revels in the opportunity to use her extensive hospitality knowledge and years of fine dining service experience to contribute to Kansas City’s burgeoning culinary and social landscape.

DIRECTOR OF FOOD & BEVERAGE

Through his diverse experience in hospitality, entertainment, and culinary industries, Scott’s jack-of-all-trades character creates dynamic and vibrant programming at The Town Company. Throughout his career, the programs he has managed have received countless accolades, including “Best Bars in America” by Esquire Magazine, “Top 100 New Bars in America” by Food & Wine Magazine, and personally was named a “Top 10 Mixologists to Watch” by Beverage Media Group.
